1. Overview
This page explains how to delete your data from Gyanee.ai ("Gyanee.ai", "we", "us", or "our"), including any information obtained from Facebook or Instagram when you connect those accounts to publish posts. You can remove a connected social account at any time, or delete your entire Gyanee.ai account.
2. Disconnect a Facebook or Instagram account
If you connected a Facebook Page or Instagram business account to publish posts, you can disconnect it without deleting your Gyanee.ai account:
- Open the app and go to Settings → Connected accounts.
- Select the Facebook or Instagram account and tap Disconnect.
Disconnecting immediately and permanently removes the stored access token and the connection record for that account from our systems. We do not retain the access token after you disconnect, and we cannot publish on your behalf once it is removed. You can also revoke access from your own Facebook Business Integrations settings.
3. Delete your entire account and data
You can request full deletion in either of two ways:
- In the app. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. This deactivates your account and begins deletion of your data.
- By email. Send a request from your registered email or with your registered phone number to info@nquire.ai with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will verify your identity and process the request.
4. What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize:
- your profile and account details (such as phone number, name, and email);
- your chats with the assistant and the posts you generated;
- all connected Facebook and Instagram data - the stored access tokens, Page and Instagram account identifiers, and publishing records associated with your account.
Certain records required for accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal compliance may be retained in a de-identified form, and content you already published to Facebook or Instagram remains on those platforms - you can remove it from the respective platform.
5. Timeline
Disconnecting a social account takes effect immediately. Full account deletion is completed within 30 days of a verified request. We will confirm by email or in-app when it is done.
